Brentwood, TN. 4/17/19 - As we all try our best to survive the trials and tribulations of this world; we are often faced with family crises and challenges that are hard to overcome by ourselves. It is with this thought that we invite you to join M.A.P. in an effort to connect people affected by depression, bullying, grief and mental illness.  Our mission is to provide individuals with valuable resources, networking and support. 

 The M.A.P. Summit theme is "You Can Make A Difference", which describes the overall M.A.P. experience. Our collective voices spread the notion that hope and empowerment are possible; thus, enabling families to be whole again. Our global and diverse multi-generational communities of summits will feature various topics from the mental health platform. These educational forums provide information on local and national resources, fitness issues, veterans mental health and ways to increase self-improvement. At each summit, attendees will include individuals with mental illness, family members, advocates, housewives, business professionals, educators, athletes, teens and the press. 

Studies have shown that 1 in 5 adults experience a mental health condition every year. Another shows that 1 in 17 live with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. In addition to a person directly experiencing mental illness; families, friends and communities are also affected. Half of mental health conditions begin by age 13, and 75% of mental health conditions develop by age 24. Early detection and support are crucial to improving the outcome and conditions of living a more productive life.
